It’s a cute little cottage house about 20minutes away from the Amboise train station. It was a tad far when I had to bring along a big suitcase and handcarry bag. I stayed at the rose room. It was quite comfy and I liked the bathroom with shower and bathtub too. There’s no TV or electric fan but I didn’t need those anyway. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Sound proofing might be a slight issue since it’s an old house, could hear people closing doors, walking up and down the steps which’d make the wooden floor boards creak l. The other negative bit is that there are small flies, bugs, spiders, spiderwebs in the room. Since there are flowers and plants in the little front garden too, I’d assume that it’s unavoidable that there’d be bugs and insects in the house. Unfortunately, I woke up in the middle of my sleep with my eye feeling a little strange: like i couldn’t open my left eye fully and skin around eye felt tight and stretched. When i looked into the mirror there’s a a massive swollen bump of around 1.5 inches wide. I don’t know whether a mosquito or a spider bit me, and I was probably allergic to it too. They did not have any cream, ointment, insect repellent, so it’d probably be a good idea to bring one if you decide to stay here.

家族經營的獨棟小洋房 由於沒有明顯的招牌或門牌 很容易就不小心走過頭 門口是一個鬱鬱葱葱的小院子 建議去之前可以再發郵件和房東確認一下checkin時間 房間裏面都是可用的古董傢俱 衞生間有暖氣 老虎窗看出去有很棒的風景 房東是一位很可愛的老奶奶和她的兒子一家 早餐也會在前一天提前詢問住客的需求 最重要的是有🐱！有🐱！超級會撒嬌的小貓咪 硬要挑點毛病的話就是房東一家的英語不是很流利 溝通是需要講慢點 但是意思疏通完全沒有問題

This place was amazing! The home and rooms were beautiful. Walking distance to many restaurants and downtown area.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in central Amboise. This is a lovely home with just three guest rooms (all up one flight of stairs) and the owner lives on site. My friend and I booked the suite, which is two private bedrooms with doors, plus a very nice renovated, dual-sink bathroom, all inside another door. Rate includes breakfast. Free on street parking. We got lucky and got a spot right across the street but you may end up a bit further away. You have to carry any wheeled luggage across the front yard/garden, which has a gravel path. Owner speaks very little English and is a bit frail but very friendly and kind. Lots of visitors (downstairs) in the morning when we were there - gardener, cook, and the owner's son - it was hopping! Right in the center, just a couple of blocks walk to restaurants and shops.

Very nice home with modern bathroom. The hostess is charming. The breakfast is fantastic!! Be advised that there are cats in the property although not in the guest rooms and the towels were scratchy/rough. Nice location. Charming stay.

Un accueil vraiment excellent, une maison raffinée, décorée de très bon goût, un petit déjeuner personnalisé et servi comme des rois.reines ! Les lits sont très confortable, les chambres bien tenues, les espaces salles de bains et WC sont fournit de serviettes/gants de toilettes et savon. Nous reviendrons les yeux fermés !
